IMPORTANT NOTES :- Only Anti - A - 60 Antibodies are identified by this test. These antibodies have been found in infections due to the following :- M. tuberculosis (Typical Tuberculosis) M. leprae M. avium (A Typical tuberculosis) M. paratuberculosis M. bovis Other Mycobacteria Concentration of circulating antibodies is related to the state and extent of the disease. With primary and post primary tuberculosis in the progressive stage. Levels increase. In order stages levels are very low or not detectable. At the Beginning of treatment, levels increase slightly and then decrease. Their Disappearance indicates patient recovery. IgG to A - 60 mycobacterium (ELISA) should be correlated with the clinical as well as with :- A. IgM to A - 60 Mycobacterium. B. IgA to A - 60 Mycobacterium. C.
