IMMUNOGLOBULIN A Assay

Turbox IgA assay : It is a liquid-phase immunoprecipitation assay with nephelometric end-point detection.

Immunoglobulin A(IgA) concentrations generally increase in chornic infections andliver cirrhosis. IgA is increased especially in hepatitis caused by alcohol consumption, chronic enteritis and occasionally in malabsorption.

Individuals with low concentrations of IgA may be asymptomatic or may have sinopulmonary, gastrointestinal, rheumatoc or autoimmune diseases.
