Interpretation : 

This test is a screening procedure.  It is the qualitative determination of IgG antibodies against the Cysticercosis (bladder worms) of Taenia Solium in human serum. Reactive or Non - Reactive result should be interpreted along with other clinical/radiological criteria for diagnosis. Cross reactivity may occur with Echinococcus infection, and this should be borne I mind as differential diagnosis in Reactive cases. All reactive results should be subjected to Hydatid Serology to rule out Echinococcus infection.
