IMMUNOGLOBULIN M Assay

Turbox  IgM assay : It is a liquid-phase immunoprecipitation assay with nephelometric end-point detection.

Immunoglobulin M (IgM) concentrations generally increase in chronic infections and liver cirrhosis. IgM is increased especially in biliary cirrhosis, many virus diseases and tropical diseases.

IgM is useful in diagnosingandmonitoring patients with Waldenstrom's Macroglobinemia and other Gammopathies.
